The American singer of CASSIE or Cassandra Ventura is out with a new single, her comeback if you put it that way, she gave us tracks like "ME & YOU" or "LONG WAY 2 GO", after those two singles all suddenly was quiet from her, she have been on her way to release a follower up to her debutalbum CASSIE but without any luck, maybe her luck has turned now, this year it´s 6 years ago her selftitled debutalbum hit the stores and very much is different in the music today, once again it´s proven the impact from David Guetta when he and Kelly Rowland gave the birth to FAST RNB. We all remembers "WHEN LOVE TAKES OVER" or why not the track "SEXY BITCH" from Guetta and his compadre AKON.

Almost everyone of todays RnB artist are working with producers that make electronic dancemusic or EDM.

Kelly Rowland, Akon, Kelis, Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna and even Beyonce.
That is only a couple of the big RnB artists that are into Fast RnB and more is to come for sure. It feels like the normal RnB songs are on it´s way to be exterminated.

Cassie´s second studioalbum are still untitled and it´s set to be released early in 2012, the release are going through the BAD BOY label, owned by Diddy and INTERSCOPE RECORDS.

"KING OF HEART" is the leadsingle from the album and this is one of the official remixes from the uprising star R3HAB, most famous for his collaboration with AFROJACK on the track "PRUTATAAA".

For those that follow the news you all heard about the death of WHITNEY HOUSTON, here is a tribute bootleg from the Swedish DJ and producer OSKAR ZENKERT.

Oskar had a huge hit on the clubs with the track "ORIENTAL" a couple of years back.

The tribute from him is a remix of the JERRY REKONIUS bootleg that he made up with the French artist and producer M83 and his megahit "MIDNIGHT CITY". Oskar put in his personal touch in it along with the classic track "IT´s NOT OK" from Whitney.

"QUASAR" from the Russians in HARD ROCK SOFA are predicted to be a floorfiller on the clubs this last part of winther and spring.

Russian duo Hard Rock Sofa return to Axtone for their second appearance on the label, following up last year's underground smash 'Blow Up' armed with the gargantuan 'Quasar' that comes fully loaded with, and according to the online community, the biggest drop of 2012.

Perhaps somewhat of a departure for the label with it's savage bass & ear splitting synths, 'Quasar' has been a mainstay in Axwell's sets for the past few months and a heavyweight highlight at the Swedish House Mafia's Madison Square Garden show back in December.

Since the release of 'Blow Up' last January, Hard Rock Sofa have released a string of releases, highlights including their re-vision of 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' on Sander Van Doorn's Doorn Records and reworking the summer anthem 'Sending Me Love' for Spinnin' Records that featured Max C who of course featured on Axwell's classic 'I Found U'.

The one and only original mix will be released exclusively through Beatport on the13th February, with Axtone already lining the next cut which may or may not be from another 'Trio' of Russians.

Time now for a brand new release, out on february 16, 2012.

Millia Records return for 2012 with a brand new artist in the shape of 18 year old Austrian producer, Exellery, and his ‘Android/Viper’ EP.

Having initially gained over 100,000 views on YouTube in just two week, Exellery (Phillip Winder) received a plethora of licensing requests for this EP but he decided to sign with the Millia imprint. A talented young producer, Exellery draws inspiration from the progressive electro sounds of Deadmau5 and is influenced by artists such as Hardwell. Without doubt, the ‘Android/Viper’ EP hits all the right spots.

‘Android’ builds upon solid beats with an evolving synth melody and simple yet tight percussive shuffle. Immediately demanding major attention, there is definitely no ignoring ‘Android’ as the melody swiftly progresses through a groovy breakdown and some serious hands-in-the-air, peak-time moments. This cut will cause some serious dance floor destruction. Get those hands up!

Exellery stays true to his emerging style on ‘Viper’. This track, again, builds upon a heavy beat and rhythm section but quickly turns into an emotive, euphoric belter as the rising, sweeping synths carry you away right into the break. Peak time and progressive – a killer combination and a true double-A side release.

Now over to my own opinion of the tracks.

"ANDROID"

Track is to me a uplifting tech-house tune with nice build-ups, i love the fact that the track have different sections and to me that´s lovely, ok, i like the minimal sounds too but when i am out and playing on clubs, people wanna move and you surely can do that to this young talented producer, nice work!

"VIPER"

Well, not that good like "ANDROID" is, it´s like the B-sides from singles before, but still a massive tune, a more deep sound on it, nice FX´s and more bigroom so to speak, not so perfect like "ANDROID" but not far from, also good work there.

Well people, we continue our trip in different styles of music, over now to Italy.

Ackeejuice Rockers is the name of the Project born in 2007, that brings in a very proud way, the fusion between electronic music and dancehall in all the best club of Italy.

This project came from the brilliant minds of dj King P and Ali Selecta two young and promising Italian djs with more than 10 years of experience in the scene. The mix created by warm sounds of hip hop music and synthetic sounds of electro is the starting point from where Ackeejuice Rockers got inspired.

They have a big mixture of genres in the sound, we have electronic, we have pop, we have dubstep and we have moombathon, not many outhere have those styles in their music, so in that way these guys are unique.

Last time i did a post about an artist that passed away was when HEAVY D died.

Friday the 20 january, the legendary blues, rhythm and rock´n´roll american singer ETTA JAMES passed away in Leukemia, KELLY ROWLAND and BRYAN ADAMS are some of the artists that paid their tribute to her.

Last year, AVICII and FLO RIDA had hits with the tracks "LEVELS" and "GOOD FEELING".

ETTA JAMES is those tracks, the song "SOMETHING´S GOT A HOLD ON ME" is the base in those tracks and her voice is what makes the song special and even if Avicii is a brilliant producer i don´t think that the track would be so big if it wasn´t for her, sleep tight ETTA, you will be missed.

SANNY X - A TRUE LEGEND!!!

On this post of today i´m gonna talk about the first global Swedish DJ and producer to do REMIXES, BOOTLEGS and MASH-UP´s, way before all of you newbies outhere.

When i was a little kid and started to listen at music, one of the legendary DJ´s was and is, the one and only SANNY X.

Sanny started his DJ career back at 1979. He is also known for his massive remixes and productions during the 80´s and the 90´s.

SANNY X has delivered a bunch of remixes to many of the biggest labels and not to forget, DMC. Even though he is a bit older today, he still brings fantastic remixes, some of the latest reworks and remixes is on the DEEP PURPLE track "SMOKE ON THE WATER" and also a brilliant remix on MICHAEL JACKSON´s "BILLIE JEAN"
